Experience

We videotaped our first wedding in 1985 and specialize in weddings. A "Wedding Day" DVD by Artistic Video Productions captures all of the sights and sounds of your wedding day. By adding music video segments, and utilizing the latest techniques in creative wedding videography, you will have a truly unforgettable wedding video.

Coverage

We attempt to capture everything on your wedding day. The decor and establishing shots start off the coverage at every location. You can expect to see all of the events that make your wedding memorable. We start 1-2 hours before the ceremony and stay as late as needed, there is no time limit. You also get the coverage between the ceremony and reception.

Equipment

Cameras: We recently switched over the Full HD Sony EX1 video cameras. Google them to see how great these cameras are. They allow us to shoot most of the day with no video light. We only use the video light when the lights on the dance floor are turned low and then we only use a very small 10watt light.

Editing: Artistic Video uses Adobe CS4 suite of products to edit your wedding. Adobe is due to upgrade the suite of software to CS5 between March and September of 2010. This means upgraded versions of Premiere Pro video editor, Photoshop, Aftereffects, Soundbooth for audio, Encore DVD and more. When we upgraded to Adobe CS4, it allowed us to add the Digital Slide Show bonus video to all packages because the software does 90% of the work.

Audio: Multiple wireless microphones are used at the ceremony and reception. These are top-of-the-line professional mics with quality unsurpassed. You will be able to hear the "I do's" even if you whisper. It addition to the wireless mics we have multiple audio recorders to backup everything. At the ceremony here is what we mic, Groom, Priest, Podium for the readers, Podium for the singers, Church sound system, and music. (String Quartet, Piano, Guitar, Trumpet etc). I have followed other videographers at the church and have been surprised when I asked where to hook into the sound system and they tell me that they just use there on camera mic. Oh, BTW we also have the audio from the on camera mics.

Video Taping Style

Everyone has heard the horror stories about the videographer or photographer who has taken over the wedding day. Artistic Video Productions will capture your wedding day as it happens without being aggressive or obtrusive. It is the "Fly On The Wall" style of shooting that is hardly noticed at all.
